This is ‘ADIMOV Dreaming’
// October 12th, 2009 // Blog
Dear All,
Well the green machine that we will be riding from Darwin later this year is complete and had its first public showing on the weekend at the Herald Sun Tour in Sturt St (Locals may have noticed us in the background on the front page of today’s Ballarat Courier).
Old Collegian and Rode RAGE team member Matt Hill is the creative genius behind the design. On Sunday, our team spent the afternoon talking with members of the public and a vast array of international and interstate visitors about the vehicle, Rode RAGE and how the EBT program works and did extrordinarily well with many people commenting on their amazing breadth and depth of knowledge and their ability to speak confidently.
ADIMOV is an abbreviation of our EBT motto of Adapt – Improvise and Overcome and Dreaming is an acknowlegement of the traditional owners of the many lands that we will be riding through. It’s hard to tell from the picture but the wording is painted in Koorie art work by local Koorie artist Helen Morris.
Please feel free to drop into the shed at Vic St any Tuesday or Thursday after school if you would like a closer look, or keep an eye out on the Western Freeway over the next few weekends as we will be on the road training for the big ride.
GG
